Dan Puetz

President

Dan Puetz was inspired to lead Dollars for Deb after losing his partner, Deb, to glioblastoma in 2022 following her brave fight against the disease. Determined to honor her legacy, he now channels his energy into helping families facing similar challenges and funding critical cancer research. With over 38 years of leadership experience at Honeywell/Resideo, Dan brings valuable operational and strategic insight to the organization’s mission.

Ryan Puetz

CEO

Ryan serves as CEO & Founder, and was Deb’s stepson. In the early days, Ryan worked to establish 501c3 nonprofit status, building the Dollars for Deb brand along the way. Currently working for Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, Ryan brings 7 years of business and advertising expertise to the team, focusing his efforts in brand appearance, website, digital and print materials, and corporate sponsorship. Currently working remotely, Ryan and his girlfriend spend their time doing month-long stays across the United States.

Drew Puetz

CFO

Drew Puetz currently serves as the CFO of Dollars for Deb. He grew up in Rogers, MN and attended Rogers High School. After high school, he moved to Fargo, ND and attended North Dakota State University. Drew obtained a major in Finance and a minor in Agribusiness & Applied Economics. After college, Drew started working at Canteen One where he is still employed as a Senior Financial Analyst. He currently lives in Saint Francis, MN, but still drives down to New Prague often to enjoy a 31 Hour Pale Ale at Giesenbrau.

Zeb Moers

Director of Development

Zeb Moers is the Director of Development at LEAP Housing, an Idaho-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring hardworking individuals can afford housing in their communities. With nearly a decade of nonprofit experience, Zeb specializes in fundraising, partnership building, and strategic communications. Previously he has volunteered with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Rocky Mountain Deaf School, and now he volunteers with Dollars for Deb to build support for families facing economic hardship caused by medical needs. 

Michael Pietruszewski

Secretary

Michael Pietruszewski is a licensed attorney who currently serves as the Secretary of Dollars for Deb. Michael grew up in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. He attended Hamline University for his undergraduate studies and then obtained his Juris Doctor degree at Mitchell Hamline School of Law – each located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Michael currently lives in Boise, Idaho, but stays connected to those in the great State of Minnesota. Michael is excited for all the opportunities Dollars for Deb will obtain in its efforts to help with cancer research and making a greater difference in this world.
